Michaelis University was founded by Amber Michaelis.
Amber created the platform out of a desire to provide structured educational resources that encourage careful thinking and religious literacy. Her work focuses on organizing complex topics into clear frameworks that help learners build lasting understanding.
Through writing, research, and instruction, she aims to contribute to thoughtful dialogue and deeper comprehension of foundational religious traditions.
Amber holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science and has experience across multiple fields, including emergency medicine, full-stack development, aviation operations, and USCG search and rescue. She also holds several professional cybersecurity certifications and is a certified Mathematics, Science, and Engineering educator.

The Michaelis University Homeschool Curriculum is designed to help students grow into thoughtful, capable learners prepared for high school, college, and lifelong intellectual development. Built around rigorous academic standards and a mastery-based approach, the program provides clear instruction, structured assessments, and measurable progress across core subjects.
Through an interactive learning platform, students work through carefully designed lessons while engaging with personalized themes and game-based challenges that connect academic concepts to their interests. Automated assessments provide immediate feedback, while parents retain full visibility and control over pacing, grading, and student progress.
Our mission is to empower families with a modern homeschool system that combines academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and meaningful learning experiences. By blending strong educational standards with flexible, student-centered instruction, the Michaelis University Homeschool Curriculum helps students build the knowledge, discipline, and confidence needed to succeed in the world beyond the classroom.
